I’m Alissa, the Executive Chef and Founder of FlavorPlayer, serving the New York Tri-State area. My journey to becoming a chef wasn’t traditional but it’s exactly what makes my approach unique. After a long career in entertainment, I realized my true passion wasn’t in the music industry — it was in the kitchen. So, I traded record labels for chef knives and earned my degree from Le Cordon Bleu, mastering the craft of cooking and the art of creating unforgettable dining experiences. Since then, I’ve cooked in some of the most demanding kitchens across Los Angeles, Dallas, and New York City, refining my skills and deepening my love for food.
